How do we inspect wheel nut ?
Testing the wheel nut M12x1.25 M12x1.5 hardness , we have done the carburization dpeth 0.2 to 0.4 um ,not only the case hardness demand 30 to 40. but also the core hardness should be HRC 17 to 23 .
Normally many ficilities use low carbon steel to make wheel nut . Like AISI 1010.
to be honest, we used a better steel wire which is a low carbon alloy steel 10B21. its technicans property mush most suit for application . suit for wheel bolt .
